Today, the St. George's Church counts as one of the most beautiful heritage landmarks of Penang. The passing of time has not altered the original structure very much, nor weathered its walls.
It's location is also fortuitous; lined up in the same row, and within walking distance from the church, are the Goddess of Mercy Temple and the Kapitan Keling Mosque; a silent reminder of the religious harmony that is sacred to all Penangites.
